Chocolate Fountain History
Mr. Michel Esnault was trained and
worked as an aerospace engineer in
France and moved to Canada with the
intention of producing professional
grade chocolate and pastry tools and
equipment for North American markets. He
founded Design and Realisation in 1984.
In 1993, his electro- mechanical
expertise combined with pure creativity
resulted in the first Chocolate Fondue
Fountain that has become such a
prestigious centerpiece at special
functions. In the early 2000's,
"knock-offs" starting appearing in the
market because DR™
design features were not protected by
patents at that time.
Benchmark of Quality
DR™
continues to lead the way with
innovation and product improvements and
today offers chocolate fountains
unmatched in functionality and
reliability. Specifically offering
drains, self leveling tiers, and dual
height adjustments. And 15 years of
chocolate fountain design and
manufacturing experience has resulted in
the most reliable electrical components
and highest grade stainless steel
materials. DR™
will not compromise quality for cost
reductions even with the current
competitive pressures. See
