Punch Fountain Recipe

The once dated Punch or Champagne
Fountain is now referred to as 'retro chic' because of its new
appeal. Plus, rental fees are reasonable so many event planners
are incorporating 2 or 3 punch or beverage fountains,
strategically placing them in various locations throughout the
event to suggest a more pleasant flow of traffic.
Punch fountains, also called
beverage fountains are made from stainless steel or aluminum
alloy (a softer metal which is less expensive but also dings
much easier -- so probably not ideal for a commercial
environment). Liquid beverages are placed in the bowl of the
fountain where a pump and interior tube carries it to the top
and through the serving nozzles. Tumblers and Champagne
flutes are placed under the nozzles to fill. Here are
several punch recipes:
Punch Fountain
Recipe - Wedding Punch
2 fifth bottles
Southern Comfort or Bourbon
Juice of 12 Lemons (12 oz.)
1 c. sugar
1 pint very strong tea
2 bottles (56 oz.) Club Soda
Mix thoroughly.
Pour over ice, adding Club Soda last. Decorate with fruit.
Yield: 30 five oz. drinks.
Punch Fountain
Recipe - Mai Tai Punch
3 liters Rum
1 gallon Chablis
1 gallon Orange juice
1 gallon lemonade
1 gallon pineapple juice
Ice to chill. Garnish with fresh
sliced fruit floating in the bowl.
Punch Fountain
Recipe - Margarita
3 quarts Triple Sec
3 liters Tequila
9 quarts Sweet and Sour Mix
3 quarts Water
Ice to chill.
Garnish with thinly
sliced fresh limes.
